About Buster & Pendleton
As the founder of Buster & Pendleton, I set out on a mission to create distinctive, artisanal candles that evoke nostalgia through fragrance. My candle-making journey began at 15, when I started hand-pouring candles using premium waxes, wooden wicks, and bold essential oil blends in my family's kitchen. Through trial and error, I honed my craft and developed fragrances inspired by childhood memories, beloved places, and the magic of everyday moments.
Today, Buster & Pendleton candles transport people to happier times with scents like Grandpa's Overalls; Basic Bitch; and Mulled Cider. My small-batch process allows me to perfect each custom fragrance and ensure an exceptionally clean, long-lasting burn. It brings me immense joy to hear feedback from customers who tell me my candles remind them of meaningful times and evoke powerful emotions.
I'm endlessly grateful to my family for supporting my entrepreneurial dreams and to the Kansas City community for embracing my locally-made candles.
